Selection rationale (full)

The Full-Time MBA has a 12-month option and expressly accepts GMAT as an alternative admissions test. Esade’s Executive MBA is 18–22 months (the shortest format is 18 months), so it is an extended-EMBA alternative, not a one-year executive option; under the specified priority, the eligible 12-month regular MBA takes precedence. Do not select the 15- or 18-month Full-Time MBA routes.[2][6]

No approximately 12-month INSEAD Executive MBA option was found. INSEAD’s Global Executive MBA (including its in-person sections and Flex format) is listed as modular and 14–20 months, so it is a longer alternative, not the preferred one-year route. The fulltime MBA is explicitly one year, accepts/requires a non-waivable GMAT/GRE route, and ranks ahead of an extended EMBA under the requested priority. January 2027 deadlines had passed by 3 October 2026; August 2027 is the actionable 2027 intake.[11][15]

The 15-month NUS Executive MBA is not a one-year option and requires at least 10 years of full-time post-degree work experience. The candidate reports nearly 9 years and resigned in March 2026, so the stated profile does not meet that threshold. NUS does offer a full-time MBA that may be completed in 12 months, and its August 2027 policy accepts GMAT (including GMAT Focus) or other listed tests, with a possible waiver. This is the highest-priority verified option that fits the stated experience and duration constraints; no longer-than-one-year regular MBA route is selected.[17][19]

Among the requested Nanyang MBA and Executive MBA options, the full-time MBA is the best verified eligible fit. Its official AY2027 page confirms a 12-month July 2027 intake, accepts GMAT/GMAT Focus as an admissions-test route, and requires only two years of work experience. The 13-month EMBA is closer to the preferred executive format, but its published minimum is 10 years’ experience (typically including five leadership years); this candidate has nearly nine and would need a case-by-case exception. Thus no eligible one-year executive option is established on the supplied profile, so the one-year regular MBA is the priority fallback. The EMBA does not require GMAT/GRE, but that does not cure the experience gap.[28][29]

The Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA is for senior executives and is not a viable option for this candidate while resigned: the current EMBA FAQ says full-time employment is a prerequisite and company sponsorship/support is required. Its 10-year experience benchmark may be met by the 2027 start depending on her exact work dates, but employment and sponsorship remain barriers. HKUST offers an eligible 12-month regular full-time MBA, so it is selected under priority tier 2; no programme longer than one year is selected.[33][35]

The standard Trinity Executive MBA is a two-year part-time programme for experienced professionals, not an about-one-year or up-to-18-month option. No one-year executive/experienced-professional MBA was verified. The Full-time MBA is explicitly 12 months, so it is the best eligible choice under priority tier 2; a longer-than-one-year full-time option is not selected.[40][42]

WHU’s Full-Time MBA is 12 months and meets the fallback priority. The Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA is a two-year part-time program, not a one-year or 18-month option, and is designed for participants who continue full-time employment/self-employment. Since the candidate has resigned, the EMBA is a poor practical fit unless she resumes work; the full-time MBA has no published current-employment requirement. WHU expressly accepts GMAT as one route through its Full-Time MBA Excellent Fit Assessment.[48][54]

The Executive MBA was checked first: it is 18 months, not a one-year executive option, and the official Executive MBA admissions criteria do not document a GMAT route. Because a one-year full-time MBA completion option is published and this candidate needs a genuine GMAT pathway, the Full-time MBA fits priority tier 2. It does not select a regular full-time pathway that must take longer than one year; the 12-month route is specifically documented, though the standard course duration is longer.[57][59]

The current GMBA is a one-year, GMAT-accepting regular full-time MBA and therefore meets priority tier 2. The school’s current Executive MBA is 18 months, parttime and delivered online through ELO, not a one-year or Dubai-campus-based executive course. Because a qualifying one-year regular MBA exists, the longer EMBA is not selected under the stated hierarchy.[63][66]
